Our History
Our journey began in 2015, running a product-based business utilising traditional joinery, machines, and techniques. As the business expanded, the need for a professional manufacturing service became apparent. Despite extensive research, a reliable and cost-effective solution proved elusive. In 2020, our founder, Harry, now with a mechanical engineering degree in hand, identified this gap in the market. Investing in cutting-edge machinery, he laid the foundation for Wolds Workshop to meet the growing manufacturing demands.
Our Establishment
Established in 2021, Wolds Workshop was born out of the challenges Harry faced in his earlier venture. Since then, we've evolved into a trusted product manufacturer, catering to businesses and individuals alike UK wide. We prioritise a friendly, customer-centric approach, aiming to provide the best solutions tailored to individual needs. Our customers value our extensive knowledge in product manufacturing, making collaboration with us a rewarding experience.
Our Sustainability
Sustainability is a fundamental principle at Wolds Workshop, underscored by a commitment to minimising our carbon footprint. Our workshop features a cutting-edge Off-Grid Solar System, harnessing solar power to operate all single-phase appliances and machinery within our facility.
However, due to the current cost constraints of batteries and associated hardware, powering our three-phase CNC Router with renewable energy is not currently feasible. To address this challenge, we utilise a diesel generator. As a positive by-product, the generator charges our battery system, ensuring continued operation on less sunny days while strategically minimising our reliance on fossil fuels.
